Working men's trousers: features and tips for choosing

Worker trousers are personal protective equipment and are also designed to simplify certain work processes. The peculiarities of men's work trousers are that they are sewn with pockets on the sides, in which you can store the necessary tools at hand.

All overalls are labeled depending on the purpose. Men's work trousers are classified according to the degree of protection against adverse environmental influences. There are two types of leg protection:

• semi-overalls.

Summer trousers of a standard cut are able to provide protection against various minor injuries, as well as protect the skin from the ingress of liquids of various types, except for toxic ones.

In order to make it clear what special properties the trousers have, there is a notation system:

• VO (water-repellent properties);

• З (protection against industrial pollution)

• MI (resistance of clothes to mechanical abrasion).

To make the choice of trousers that suit you, you need to build on the working conditions. In the event that the work process takes place indoors, it is better to choose clothing that does not hinder movement, which will be light.

Typically for sewing use 3 types of fabric:

• natural;
• artificial;
• mixed.

Many of the fabrics are treated with special impregnations, which give the product a special quality. In some cases, two types of fabric are used in the manufacture of products. One of them serves as a lining.

Used fabrics for summer type of trousers:

• pace;
• tent;
• twill.

The temp fabric is a blended type. It contains cotton (35%) and polyester (65%). This fabric is quite practical, but at the same time comfortable. Products made from this material are lightweight. It is a roughened fabric that resists discoloration and abrasion. It also repels dust and can be easily washed from various contaminants.

"Tent" is 100% cotton. This fabric has a rather rough texture, but very high strength indicators. Products made from such material are not blown through, and it is also quite difficult to damage or tear them. These characteristics are achieved through the use of twisted yarns.

The twill fabric also contains 100% cotton. The property of this fabric is that it is breathable, so you do not sweat in it, even when performing a work process in hot weather conditions. It perfectly protects the body from overheating. Pants made of this fabric are suitable for sensitive skin, as it has a pleasant texture.

All overalls divided into 2 categories:

• by season;
• by appointment.

According to the season, there are:

• winter look of trousers or semi-overalls;
• summer pants.

Usually, the winter type of workwear is sewn from a mixed type of fabric. Such pants are made with a lining, most often a synthetic winterizer or fiberlon plays its role. They perfectly retain body heat at temperatures ranging from -18 to -32 degrees. These models have a belt or shoulder straps that can be adjusted.

Summer options for trousers are sewn, as a rule, from cotton fabrics or nylon is present in the composition. They need to breathe without allowing the body to perspire to be comfortable in high temperatures. Some models are equipped with reflective stripes.

Clothing is subdivided by purpose:

• to perform construction and installation work;
• for painting works;
• for working with chainsaws;
• for work with brush cutters.

Clothing intended for construction work should have a large number of pockets and a belt.

To work with a brush cutter or chainsaw, artificial fabrics are usually used for sewing.
