A balcony with a take-out can expand the space of a small one-room apartment overnight. The easiest way to increase living space is to glaze the balcony with the expansion of its boundaries.

From the technical point of view, a balcony with a take-out is not much different from the usual one: the outer wall and glazing are slightly shifted towards the street. However, from a practical point of view, this solution has many advantages.

However, this idea has some drawbacks:

If there is no permits, then the space can only be increased by 30 cm. The limiting value in this situation is 50 cm, but such a procedure will require a permit.

But even 30 sentiments are sometimes enough to create additional space in the apartment. On the enlarged U-shaped balcony, it is quite possible to place a small sofa or turn the resulting room into a beautiful garden.

First of all, you need to clean the balcony of all that is superfluous. It is also necessary to remove the baseboards and take out the lighting fixtures. Then we cut off the metal fences. Already at this stage, safety is extremely important: the area below is fenced with tape, and the fences are fastened with a rope.

If it is planned to increase the area on the windowsill, it is necessary to strengthen everything with brackets. They must be pre-treated with an anti-corrosion compound. You can use anchors or strengthen everything by welding (here everything will depend on the material of the parapet).

8. Frame ready... Now you can prime everything in several layers.
9. At the very end you can carry out the cladding of the outside of the balcony.

Sheathing is necessary - it not only improves the appearance of the balcony, but also reliably keeps the structure from moisture... If the parapet is made of metal, PVC siding can be used. If the parapet is made of concrete, a galvanized iron sheet with a coating is well suited for cladding.

The design itself can be fixed with metal strips. A visor is installed on top, which will protect against rainwater or snow. The calculation of the brackets is carried out taking into account the strength of the plate, as well as the weight of the structure.

For glazing, you should use the best materials from which the visor will be assembled. Thanks to this, there will be no problems in the form of freezing or the appearance of condensation on the balcony space.

The cost of glazing using plastic windows depends on the color. The cheapest are white plastic windows. Usually on the sites you can see the approximate prices for this type of profile. If you use laminated glass units, the cost may be higher. However, even here you can find a compromise and order only one color side.

Aluminum profiles are considered affordable in terms of cost. This type of profile is often used in glazing. This solution is relevant for spaces that do not need insulation from excess noise or heat.

Manufacturing prices are calculated depending on the size of the loggia (the width, depth and length of the space are taken into account). For example, glazing a standard Khrushchev is not very expensive, since such apartments have very small balconies. However, the result will be really impressive, so this kind of glazing is in great demand.

Many companies offer options for glazing balconies and expanding space at the following prices: for Khrushchev - about 31 thousand rubles (cold option), warm glazing will cost about 39 thousand.
