How to make a bedside table with your own hands?

Bedside tables are made of everything - even trays from a fixed-price store installed on legs made from shovel cuttings are used. And it turns out beautifully, original, cheap. Those who like more traditional technologies can also count on creating a small table for the bedroom with their own hands.

A small bedside table is a versatile and really useful thing. This fashion came from England and France, where coffee in the morning, like tea, many people prefer to drink barely getting up.

And yet the typical size of such furniture:

• height 40-50 cm;
• the width is commensurate with the dimensions of the room, approximately 40-70 cm.

When you make furniture with your own hands, you need a drawing or at least a sketch. It helps to navigate in the manufacture of parts, not to get lost, to strictly observe the dimensions.

• Quite wide design, but quite popular... Especially in spacious bedrooms, it is in demand. If desired, at such a table, you can organize a romantic dinner for two, right in the bedroom. Or watching a movie with a cup of cocoa and cookies is also useful.

Most often, tables are made of wood, as this is the most affordable and most comfortable material for processing. But sometimes literally handy things are used.

To make it you will need:

• 4 wooden boxes;
• sandpaper;
• varnish and roller, brush;
• PVA glue;
• plywood sheet;
• 4 wheels;
• self-tapping screws;
• drill, screwdriver.

Such materials and tools are needed precisely to create a table from boxes. This is one of the few options, but the most affordable in terms of the simplicity of the technological process. That is, even those who have not made a small shelf before can decide to make a whole table.

The process begins not with the assembly, but with the preparation of the boxes, which will become the basis of the table. They need to be cleaned with sandpaper and varnished. That is, the boxes will be finished not after assembly, but before. If you wish, you can tint the boxes with stain or paint them altogether.

What to do next.

1. Holes should be made on the end sides of the boxes; a drill is used for this. Then the chopiks will be fixed at the attachment points and connected by the ends of all elements to each other.
2. Plywood sheet 1 cm thick should be selected according to the size of the connected boxes. It will be the bottom of the structure. It also needs to be lacquered. And it is to the plywood base that the wheels should be attached to the screws. And then the plywood itself is attached to the boxes.

Actually, the table is ready.

A similar design can be made from pallets. To do this, take:

• 3 pallets;
• thick, centimeter-diameter glass in the shape of pallets;
• furniture wheels;
• drill;
• screws and drills;
• brush;
• varnish or paint;
• primer.

How is such a table made?

1. The pallets should be sanded with a drill attachment before assembly. This will make them look smooth and aesthetically pleasing. Then it makes sense to treat them with a disinfecting primer.
2. Now the pallets are waiting for finishing, which is usually called finishing, but in this case it comes at the beginning of the process. They can be painted (for example, in universal white) or varnished. Which option is more in harmony with the space of the bedroom, you should stop at that. Painting must be thorough, leaving no voids.
3. To fasten the table elements together, the fastening points must be identified and marked. Holes for fasteners are drilled with a drill. The screws will be screwed into the wood of the pallets, thus joining them together. The casters are attached in a standard way.
