Mirror tiles in the interior of the hallway can be a real godsend. You can easily use various interior design options - panels on the wall, beveled tiles and other layout in the corridor. But you cannot limit yourself to its layout, you also need to familiarize yourself with the care requirements.

The reflective properties of mirrored tiles in the hallway are especially valuable. They reduce the need for normal natural light. With skillful use, the space transforms well. But the correct selection of cladding is critically important. Errors in its application turn out to be extremely unpleasant in their consequences.

Even the most limited corridor area will be effectively beaten with mirror tiles. They perfectly mask any surface imperfections. And they become a bright filling of the interior. In terms of decorative qualities, such a coating is far superior to traditional ceramics.

If you just say that there is a mirror tile attached to the wall, then you say almost nothing. This material can be made from various types of raw materials:

• glass (it is easy to get it - substances that maintain shine are introduced into the melt);

• acrylic (it is lightweight, resistant to mechanical stress and aggressive substances);

• traditional ceramics (with the addition of plasticizers, looks like a precious metal);

• polyvinyl chloride (easy to install, suitable for ceiling application and panel formation);

• porcelain stoneware (looks luxurious, ideally smooth, lasts a long time, tolerates strong moisture).

But the difference can also relate to the nuances of execution. Classic mirror tiles have a smooth structure and a glossy appearance. Its joints are connected with almost no visually noticeable seams. Products with plating are more similar to gold or silver, although there are also imitations of chrome and bronze. Some models are made with artificial corrosion.

Modifications with a facet, that is, with a bevel of the edge, "play" beautifully. It is safe to stack them. Processing will require the use of grinders. You can also use mirror tiles:

• tint;
• decorate with a "satin" surface;
• cover with volumetric images of various kinds.

Most often, mirror tiles are needed to expand the space and saturate it with light. These tasks are perfectly solved by covering an entire wall or creating a large composition. To make it more effective, they resort to a rhombic or mosaic layout scheme. An unusual effect can be achieved due to the round-shaped mirror tiles of various sizes. It is placed on the wall in an arbitrary way, always using spot lighting in order to advantageously show such a surface.

But this is not the only possible solution, of course. Sometimes a small amount of decorative details are added in addition to the main composition. For example, the main part of the wall is decorated with traditional stone imitation. Several blotches with a shiny surface are attached to it.

Even the most durable types of mirror tiles take care. But there shouldn't be any special difficulties. A simple clean surface is just wiped with a damp cloth. This approach helps out if there are no visually noticeable spots. If you find contamination, you should remove it with special detergents.

From available tools, they are replaced by a warm aqueous solution of vinegar. It is recommended to periodically apply antistatic agents. Failure to use them leads to a rapid accumulation of dust. It is strictly forbidden to clean the mirror tiles:

• brushes with hard bristles;
• abrasive agents;
• sponges made of steel.

Mirrored tiles can look very attractive next to an emphatically old-fashioned wardrobe. The solution shown in the photo perfectly matches the standards of a classic interior.

But you can arrange a whole wall from such material. It will turn out to be very attractive, and the reflective effect will increase. It is good to place such a structure opposite the seat and the locker for things.
