Choosing wallpaper in the corridor under dark doors

For interiors, dark doors are often chosen, as they are more practical. Dirt and small scratches are less visible on them. And although a dark door always looks nobler, it often adds gloom to the corridor. You can profitably highlight it or hide it by choosing the right wallpaper.

A dark door delimits space. Light wallpaper can neutralize this effect, give the corridor lightness and spaciousness, which is very important for a small, confined space.

Original and pretentious doors look especially advantageous on light wallpaper. So the walls not only do not distract from the interesting design, but also emphasize it favorably. It is more difficult to beat the interior with dark wallpaper. In combination with dark doors, the corridor can turn into a gloomy room, and the lack of light will be felt especially acutely. In addition, such a solution visually reduces the space and lowers the ceilings.

Black doors look great in a contrasting black and white interior. For a shade of dark indigo, eggplant or blueberry, you should choose wallpaper in cold colors. For chocolate, terracotta, wenge or cherry, on the contrary, the walls in the corridor should be of a warm spectrum.
